I thought I should probably announce the posting of my second SHY YETI ON LOCATION show - this one filmed in a secret location in London.

This episode of SHY YETI ON LOCATION is filmed from not one, but two secret locations - and one of those is full of snow!!! This time Mr Yeti reads three poems: WE'RE GOING TO CLONE YOU, I LOVE YOU LESS and DON'T SNOG BEES from his almost finished new book - DO YETI WEAR PYJAMAS? MORE NEWS AND SOME OUT-TAKES...

Hi,

Close on the heels of my previous video: SHY YETI ON LOCATION - IN DORSET... I have now also uploaded a 5 minute video of out-takes which can be viewed at either of the following links:

I'm not sure I mentioned it and I still need to go back for a final count up - but it looks as if the final number of poems that I completed in 2009 was 183 (this does not include the 2 or 3 that I discovered almost totally complete and only did some small re-writes on...) I am certainly not aiming to write as many this year - but we shall see. My main aim will be to make more videos of my poems this year - on top of continuing with my gigs, open-mike nights, blogtv shows etc.

The last poem of 2009 and also of the decade ended up being THE PEOPLE WHO YOU LOVE WHEN YOU ARE YOUNG, which will most probably appear in THE DEATH OF LOVE collection later this year. The first poem of 2010 was THAT OLD BLOOD MOON - the last verse of which can be heard in a very rough form in SHY YETI ON LOCATION - IN DORSET... I am currently working on the second poem of 2010, which is entitled A MONKEY'S UNCLE...

SHY YETI ON LOCATION...

Hello and happy new year!

Just a quick post really to start the year on a positive note...

Whilst I was away over New Year I bought myself a new stills camera, which also has a rather good video camera attached. I've been planning on making a series of little films to be posted on vimeo and youtube this year and what follows is the pilot episode - filmed in Dorset on Sunday 3rd January 2010.

Work continues on my next collection: DO YETI WEAR PYJAMAS - with new poems being written for the book after that THE DEATH OF LOVE. Hopefully I'll be doing quite a few of these internet shows this year! Watch this space!!
