Hello beasties!

This week I'll be telling you about my recently trip to Lille - although I've not done a written diary as one of our podcast episodes includes all you need to know about our weekend away...

First up we have our latest episodes of the podcast - the first is all about a day trip to Q Gardens (no relation to the actual famous Kew Gardens, of course!)

Here we are for episode 111 - where this time we head to a place called Q-Gardens (no relation, of course, to the famous gardens with a similar name!) Whilst Paul and Toby explore - Ikk and Yeti Uncle John meet a talking plant! All this and there are poems and a number of the regulars check in with words of wisdom! Harry and I had a lot of fun in Lille - and we hope you enjoy the episode that we made all about that trip! Here are all the options that we finally rolled - at some point I may share all of the choices that were presented us, as there will be a very silly "behind the scenes" sequel to this episode coming out soon - and I may have one or two photos for the blog too. Anyway... These are the options rolled:

1. Film yourself in a public square reading I will eat pies in a French accent. (Calum)
2. Take comedy photos in front of as many statues as you can find in your time limit. (Steve)
3. Find a lovely cafe, sit down and have a nice cup of coffee and have a chat. (Misc)
4. Talk nonsense in a gallery... (Jo)
5. Find a patisserie, order a selection and enjoy. (Karen)
6. Eat snails. (Benz)

Our final episode of this post brings us back to British shores as some of the team head to a convention celebrating classic television...

THE SHY LIFE PODCAST - 113: LIGHTS! CAMERAS! NOSTALGIA! 

Here we are for episode 113 - where this time we head to a convention for classic TV, where Bettina and Dameus are two of the guests! There are also poems - Nick and Paul discuss the similarity between tapezines and podcasts and Toppie Smellie wonders about Aunt Tappie's unexpected friendship with Ikk The Alien!
