This time on the blog we'll be looking at the episodes of the podcast released during December 2022...But before we do - here are some rather odd screen-grabs that Mr Trowbridge found when watching episode 250 of Sutton Park (with the subtitles on) recently - it was our 1993 Christmas special; a rather bizarre ode to The New Avengers!!

THE MYSTERY OF AUGUST EVANS' MEMORY BOX!
Here we are for episode 598! Bettina and Paul drag Toppie into their investigations to locate the box that August brought back when he recently took a secretive trip away! There are many mysteries surrounding his disappearance in the first half of 2020 - and maybe the answers to some of them reside within that box; if only we can lay our hands on it! We also have some Sutton Park clips from the summer of 1998 which follow on from our last set in SLP episode 595. Thank you to Toppie for his help recording this edition! In our next show, #599 another of our regulars is going through a health crisis - this time it is Yeti Uncle John who was recently hit on the head by an apple and is now apparently suffering from fructophobia. MAGPIES, MAYHEM AND MALEVOLENT MISCHIEF!
Here we are for episode 600! Paul is hoping for a nice quiet celebration, although he has nothing specific planned - but there is trouble brewing... Yeti Uncle John's magpies have gotten a bit too big for their boots and have enraged a rival gang of birds who want to implicate them in some frankly quite daft art crimes. Meanwhile, Charlie Grrr is planning on releasing two new types of pie which are going to make a couple of the regulars very cross! It looks like Paul and maybe even Toppie Smellie will be dragged into trying to sort out some of these ridiculous matters! Meanwhile, Ikk is in a foul mood, Sniffy Martin is growing frantic and Tallulah is at her worst - but we do have some lovely special guest cameos and some new music by Muffleyontour; so it's not all bad! I received an emergency message from Toppie Smellie one night recently and I was already in bed - he very politely requested that I recorded three Bettina Du Pres lines for the NYE episode and to be fair he was happy to wait until the morning; but no... I couldn't keep him waiting! I recorded those three lines there and then whilst in bed and sent them straight off and you can hear them on the finished show!
