Hello beasties!!
Just a short post this week - it's about autumn or, more specifically, about holding back autumn! Sadly - this isn't really possible, but let's just imagine that it is... Just for a little while, okay!?
I wasn't planning on posting this week, but I'd been taking a few pics of the unseasonably sunny weather - which also inspired me to write a short piece. BEAST - Season 4 is as good as ready, but more about that later...
The weather is being pretty kind to us, despite it being October. In fact, as I write I am in Devon for a long weekend and have taken a few photos of Dartmouth and Torquay that you could easily mistake for having been taken in the summer; except that it's usually rainier in the summer, these days! It certainly was when we were in Grange-Over-Sands in August.
The following photos, however, are definitely a little more autumnal looking - taken along the coast from Dartmouth to Blackpool Sands and Slapton Ley.
Next time, you will probably not be surprised to learn that I will be sharing, in more detail, more of my adventures in Devon - there will also be a short story called HORNER AND THE MYSTIC CATS OF TORQUAY, which is a BEAST OF FRIENDS spin-off - but completely independent of anything else I've been writing lately.
The week after that I should hopefully be able to announce the release of the 4th and final series of BEAST.

The murmured gossip of insignificant ghosts...

Sit inside denying its existence...
Close your eyes and believe it...
Shout it out loud,
"Summer is here! Summer is here! Summer is here!"
Autumn won't happen.
That's the end of the matter...
