THE BEGINNING OF OUR "KENT" TRILOGY...
Hello beasties!
This time we're back in Kent... I kept most of the photos I took back at end of July and during the first week of August as I knew that we'd need them to go with the episodes that I recorded down there!
This week I have released the first of those episodes... I've been quite excited about reaching these three shows as, although at first they might seem to be just the usual diary type episodes interspersed with my writing, in actual fact they are a little different; blending reality with a heavy dose of fiction! Hopefully it's done in such a way that to begin with you you don't even realise that I intend to full immerse everything in weirdness - jumping in and out of reality until perhaps it's hard to be sure what is real stuff and what isn't! I may have had a similar experience recording it too! Podcasting is quite different from film-making, but I am trying to give you a little "Sutton Park" experience - only on the radio; it's probably a little more subtle in this format - but only slightly so... Hold on tight - you could be in for a bumpy ride - or maybe it's just going to be a relaxing afternoon of tea, poetry and ghostly goings on!
Here's all the information you need about that first episode of the trilogy - episode 20 of THE SHY LIFE PODCAST...

Next up, I'd like to share with you a few more photos - mostly taken in and around the grounds of where I stayed. It was all very nice - I really was in (atheist) heaven.., I'm sure you will agree and I would very much like to return again next year... Or maybe even next week... Any chances? ;)

THE SHY LIFE PODCAST - 20: A MUCH NEEDED HOLIDAY!! (1 OF 3)
Here we are for episode TWENTY- and this time we're on holiday down in Kent for a week. Mr Yeti is enjoying his own company - spending time in the gardens and sharing some of his writing with the listeners... But something isn't quite right, people almost seem to look straight through him - he sees strange figures standing in the shadows and spiders leave webs in doorways. Something strange is going on - but what exactly is happening? This is the first of three slightly off-kilter, unnerving and possibly quite silly episodes of THE SHY LIFE PODCAST. Episode 21 - the second in this trilogy - should be posted later this month. Please email me at shyyeti@yahoo.co.uk if you have any comments - you can even send me a sound-file and I'll include it on the show. The music is by Shy Yeti and Luca, with sound-effects from Soundbible. This episode and all contents are Copyright Paul Chandler, 2016. Episode 20 was recorded between the 30th and 31st July 2016.
This episode can be downloaded on iTunes, Acast, Podbean and also from Soundcloud at the following link:

I kept up with social media, of course - thank goodness for the internet! I even Skype-d friends and family!
Next time I expect to be sharing some more stories and photos from Kent with you - not to mention the links for the last two episodes of our current SHY LIFE PODCAST trilogy... As I type I am about half-way through completing the second of these three episodes! Although I have quite a few episodes already recorded there are a number that need to be timer-released to go with certain dates - such as my Halloween episode and my birthday episode; so the next couple of months I'm having to pay a bit more attention to which episodes I edit first and when I release them - not too soon and not too late in the day! It's all good fun, but doesn't mean to say it's not worth doing well...
Yeti hugs,
Paul xx
