OUR PODCAST - THE ADVENTURE CONTINUES!!
Hello beasties!
This week I am here to trumpet the final two episodes of our Kent trilogy... This won't be the last time that we go a bit weird and wonderful on you - but I can assure you that we'll certainly be back to a more normal interviews and daft sketches format for the next episode or three. The Kent trio of episodes is probably the nearest thing to an episode of SUTTON PARK that I've done since the reboot in 2010 and it was great fun to record.

Here we are for episode TWENTY -ONE where Mr Yeti continues his week's holiday down in Kent... Something very strange has been occurring, but Shy tries his best to convince himself that it was all in his imagination. Returning to normal, he goes shopping, chats to an old friend on Skype, shares with you another Shy Yeti script and then heads to Canterbury for the day... It is there that he unexpectedly meets someone! This is just the beginning of further weird goings on... This is the second of three particularly off-kilter, unnerving and possibly quite silly episodes of THE SHY LIFE PODCAST. Episode 22 - the third in this trilogy - should be posted later this month. Here we are for episode TWENTY-TWO - and we join Mr Yeti for our last episode down in Kent... Help is at hand - but what can be done about the ghost that is pursuing Shy - and what does this spook want exactly? We also hear more from one of Paul's oldest friends - known to some as Madame Elaine! I've been juggling around some of the episodes that I've already recorded - at one stage the Halloween episode was going to be episode 25, but I've gotten ahead of myself - so now I've got a new schedule, which at the moment runs something like this...

25: Interview with Julie Archer about her new book, how we first met etc.
26: More chat with Carey - and then an artsy surprise!

After this I have a birthday episode planned and also (hopefully) episode/s recorded in Venice - and then there are still one or two episodes that I've recorded in September that will need to be edited for November. I think I'm always going to have a few episodes in the can - but that's actually a really good thing, I think.
I have plenty of photos - we start in Canterbury, which was pretty much my only real day-trip of the holiday; I had a nice bus trip out there from Lyminge where I was staying... It's also where I met one of the guest-stars for this trilogy of episodes!
Moving beyond the Canterbury shots - what am I doing in a shed, you may ask? I was filming a cliffhanger for episode 21 and it was breezy outside, so made sense to record undercover! As it happens, me being in a shed made it easier for a certain person to creep up on me for that aforementioned cliffhanger!! See, a perfectly sensible reason!!
Golly... As I was saying at the start of this post it was all a bit like being back in the Sutton Park universe being down in Kent - only more audio-based! Having edited the three episodes recently I can honestly say that I am pleased how they've come out and how they blend a typical SHY LIFE PODCAST episode with one of my more bizarre theatrical moments!
Next week we have a new Shy Yeti script - this one set during one of Shy's poetry shows... Everything seems to be going just fine, until... Well, check back next week and you will see!! It's all terribly exciting and glamorous - rather like me! Ha!
