Hello beasties!
This week we won't be stopping for too long - I have a podcast or four to share, though and also a new prose piece which was inspired by the photos of some of the lovely flowers that I saw when I was staying down in Kent recently. Anyway, more about that in a bit...
Next up - a few new podcast episodes...
Here we are for episode SEVENTY TWO - where this time we begin our hunt for Bold Sasquatch; although Shy and Yeti Uncle John are not the only ones on that search. Paul also shares with you some of his writings and we catch up with what Bert and Gert have been doing. Thanks also to Toby W for his brief cameo this time. Our next episode, number 73 sees us all heading off on a London have having a bit of a chatter with some of the regulars whilst riding on the top of a London bus. Please email me at shyyeti@yahoo.co.uk if you have any comments - you can even send me a sound-file and I'll include it on the show. The music is by Shy Yeti and Luca. All content of this episode is Copyright Paul Chandler, 2017. Episode 72 was recorded between the 25th January and the 21st March 2017.

There will be more new podcast episodes very soon!!
Next up - photos that I took in the garden of the manor house where I stayed when I was in Kent at the start of April. I hope you like them - they inspired the prose piece that I will be sharing with you at the end...
Next time we'll be discussing more podcasts and in a week or two we may even have a new Shy Yeti script for you... This is the last one of the first batch of episodes and I am now forging ahead to publish a book that contains the first 16 scripts in one location!
Take care - more soon,
Yeti hugs,
Paul (aka Shy Yeti) xx
P.S. The next piece was written between the 18th April and early May and was inspired by the photos that are included in this post - that were taken in the village of Lyminge at the beginning of April 2017...
"Show off!" cry the other flowers in the garden. "Shameless hussy!"
"So yellow!" they cry. "My eyes! My eyes! It hurts my eyes!"
"I just think it's cheap-looking..." call out others. "Floral floozie..."
"Clearly trying to out-do the roses! Some chance!" sneer others, to choruses of...
"Let them try! Nothing out-does our roses..."
The rose buds blush gratefully, but know they are facing stiff competition all the same...
"Look! How disgusting! Covered in insects..."
They say that like it's a bad thing...
The insects flock over the yellow plant -
Because they love it. They worship it.
They want to help pollinate it.
The bees rub their knees in utter anticipation...
With friends like that you cannot help but feel popular...
"Kiss me! Kiss me! Kiss me!" commands the yellow plant.
"Ladybirds come ravish me! Stumble all over me!"
When such things happen it's best to block out the petal-waving haters -
To simply forget about all the other jealous blooms in the garden...
"Why should I feel ashamed for being beautiful?
Why should I feel bad for attracting so many admirers?"
"The answer is... you shouldn't!" reply the bees in unison.
"Time is short - one has to take any praise should it come...
There will always be someone who you will make sneeze...
Enjoy all your happy memories - for the compost heap beckons..."
