This time on the blog we'll be looking at the episodes of the podcast released during January 2022...First up, we have a fun start to 2022 with a special episode featuring Jay The Hauntcub as our guest!
PAUL AND JAY'S NEW YEAR'S DAY SPECTACULAR!
Here we are for episode 497! We thought we'd start 2022 with a very special guest and quite a lot of silliness - and so that is what we have done! Jay The Hauntcub is back with us - not to mention our regulars and appearance from another big friend of the show; but you'll have to listen to find out exactly whom! Jay gets put through quite a lot of daft goings on with Yeti Uncle John and Cromitty, but we do also have some TV chat toward the end of the show; quite a bit about the most recent season of Dr Who, but also some natter about American Horror Story and The Walking Dead (plus spin-offs!) There are also clips from Sutton Park from early 1995, as evil George and Gavin plan their next move. Bits of this episode were actually recorded on location in Richmond Park, London - but it's a mixture; some of the outdoor scenes had to be recorded indoors - it'll probably be easy enough to guess at which!

Here we are for episode 498! This time we have further encounters with the Yoga Vampires, although they don't know that we're onto them yet; so at least we're somewhat prepared! The only people who aren't prepared are Bettina and Tallulah who have innocently signed on for one of the forthcoming Yoga meetings! Danger is lurking; can the team get there to save them in time!? We also have Sutton Park clips from 24 years ago which (amongst other things) may shed some light on Cromitty's history and his vampiric family members! Here we are for episode 499! This time we're getting ready for episode 500 - but we're not quite there yet as Paul is about to learn something that will make him very cross! We also have clips from Sutton Park from the Summer of 1996! It's an action-packed sequence of episodes (even on audio!) Paul and Lee stumble into a plan for world domination by the evil Moon Beasts and there are even helicopters! What a big budget we used to have on that show! We also have some quizzing with Paul and Calum recorded late last year! Hello listeners! This time we've got another bumper edition for you! It's our 500th episode so I'm sure you'd expect nothing less! Yeti Uncle John is about to be released from Shame Jail, Paul is still sulking with Toppie Smellie for his part in YUJ's escape and Ikk is about to give birth!! We also have some Sutton Park clips from Summer 1996 (#1505-1508), messages from many special guests and flashbacks to some of Ikk's greatest appearances! Our next show, #501 sees us dealing with the aftermath of episode 500 - will Yeti Uncle John's plans come to fruition? How will Ikk cope with his newly-born? Will Paul and Toppie finally make up? AFTERMATHS, OLD FRIENDS AND ODD GOINGS-ON!
Here we are for episode 501! This time Paul is trying to relax after everything that went on during episode 500 - he begins by going through a recently unearthed box of his possessions from 30 years ago! Paul's peace doesn't last long as he has to keep an appointment with the Police concerning the recent mysterious attack of his cousin, Algernon and elsewhere Yeti Uncle John attempts to use Cromitty as a photographic model! We also have various material that escaped being in episode 500 which we're finally able to share with you here... All this and Ikk deals with life as a new parent! Is there something sinister going on? Yes, probably! Thank you to everyone who helped out with this edition; especially Toppie Smellie and Nick Goodman. Our next show, #502 sees a reunion of chat between Paul, Toppie Smellie and Nick G; Toppie wants to know more about how the guys used to release tapezines (an early form of podcasts) back in the late 80s!! JUNK/FOOD - THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY AND MORE!!

This time we're going all poetic again as we turn to a collection of verse that Paul released a little over 20 years ago, although it contains a few poems he wrote back in the early 90s. In addition to this he also discusses some short compilations that he put together 10 years ago when he was doing regular poetry shows at The Poetry Cafe in London. Cromitty, Sniffy Martin, Yeti Uncle John and Ikk The Alien (and a number of others!) also join us so that Paul doesn't get lonely whilst reading all this verse!
