This time on the blog we'll be looking at the episodes of the podcast released during June 2022...First up this month, we present some book chat from inside the depths of an old phone booth...

SHY YETI'S FANTABULOUS TELEPHONE BOX TREASURE TROVE!
Here we are for episode 540! This time on the show we head back to the ancestral home to chat to Paul's mum about the old red telephone box across from their house which is now a home for stray books and various oddments free for the taking! Paul also discusses some of the books that he's been reading recently and Cuthbert shares some Sutton Park from 1998 and a new composition by Muffley! BETTINA AND THE DESPERATE MISSION FOR BISCUITS!
Here we are for episode 541! This time Yeti Uncle John is desperate for more recordings that he can send to Radio Dull FM to gain more yummy biscuits in payment and so he recruits Bettina to tell some of her dullest stories... There is one problem, of course - but you'll have to listen to find out what it is! SHY YETI'S NOT REALLY VERY JUBILEE CHATTERBOX!
Here we are for episode 542! This time we are back for another episode of Chatterbox which was recorded over the Jubilee Weekend in June 2022 - and yet we barely mention it because none of us had been paying very much attention. Instead of discussing The Queen we return to chatting about the difference between UK and American words - consider spaghetti junction, drop in on old TV shows (many from 1970) and even pause to have a food and drink quiz! Paul is also concerned about Pooh Bear, Mickey Mouse, Batman, Superman etc. imminently falling out of copyright! We also speak with Calum about his jubilee plans, Yeti Uncle John causes a drunken scene and Lisa gets accidentally lost in time; you really don't want to miss that last one! CROMITTY AND THE LAIR OF THE JELLY SNAKE!
Here we are for episode 543! Cromitty has been having strange dreams about jelly snakes - he is unable to sleep soundly and is tormented by his nightmares. What can it all mean!?! Are the Yoga Vampires targeting him again and if so how can he overcome their evil attempts to lure him into their dastardly blood-sucking ways? Cromitty seeks help from Paul - but also turns to Trowby, Toppie and Dr Quentin for advice. PAUL AND NICK'S TREMENDOUS TV TIPPLE!
Here we are for episode 544! This time Paul and Nick discuss some films and TV shows over a glass or two... or three... of white wine! It's quite a mixed bag thematically too - avoiding the main-stream; from the late 70s Australian eco-thriller Long Weekend to the early 80s Italian attempt at an Alien sequel, Alien 2 - both Mr Yeti's choices! Following that we turn to TV and begin with Season 2 episode of Doomwatch (The Islanders from 1971), before moving on to the first episode of a 2010's sitcom called Spy, then Quest Of Eagles (Episode 1 - Sailor, 1979) and finally a season 4 Blake's 7 episode (Traitor, 1981). We also have Sutton Park clips from Spring 1998. Thanks to Nick and Aly for their help with recording this episode! Here we are for episode 546! This time we have a very special guest - not only has he gifted us a lot of his music, of late - but he is indeed our Patreon! Yes, it's Muffleyontour and he's here to chat with Mr Yeti about all manner of subjects - from Dr Who to books they've both been reading and podcasts of the moment. They also have a chat about approachable podcasts and also the challenges of recording podcasts out and about - and Muffley is planning to send some recordings from his up and coming trip to Singapore! This also leads to a behind the scenes chat and a discussion about the music that Muffley has been making for his trip - and we hear two of these new compositions during the course of the episode!
