Here we are for episode 194 - it's our live show for September 2018 - once again a day earlier than usual because we had the chance to get some extra special guests into the studio! Our guests are regular contributor Nick Goodman and Andy C who you will have met in other episodes during 2018. We'll be nattering about all manner of topics - films, music, random questions and much much more! Our extra material this month is almost as long as the show itself and was recorded straight after the live show and features random question chatter with Trowby and Lisa from Round The Archives. SHY LIFE PODCAST SHOWS - COMING SOON!!

We're heading towards the end of September now - but we've still got plenty of new episodes to present you with between now and New Year's Eve... Of course, we're also recording new shows along the way and so this list tends to change every time I post. Paul shows the gang around the library during the college summer holidays - only to realise that the Shelving Imp problem may well be getting out of hand... Please Note: Depending quite when the live show falls during October - episode 199 may be our live edition for the month (which is technically our 200th show if you include the pilot!) In which case this episode about the shelving imps will probably appear as episode 201 or round-abouts.

200. The Murder Mystery Weekend

It's episode 200 and we celebrate with a very special murder mystery weekend!

Nick and I recorded two new episodes of music chat on 15/09/18 - the years of which shall remain under-wraps for a little longer; but they will (most probably) be released before the end of the year.

### Shy Yeti's Birthday 2018

I am planning 2-3 episodes around the time of my birthday - although I am recording them on my actual birthday so they probably won't be out until mid-November; watch this space!

### A Trip To Vienna

Paul takes Cromitty and Toby to Vienna to revisit old haunts, although Cromitty soon becomes concerned that something strange may have happened to Paul on his first visit, 9 years before.

### The Return Of Dameus The Interviewer

Dameus interviews all manner of podcasting celebrities as part of his return to the chat-show circuit.

### Re-connecting With The Past

Paul catches up with Cromitty and Martin and is excited to learn that Cuthbert has a few added advances that makes it possible to re-connect with the past via old episodes of SUTTON PARK... Ikk is slightly doubtful about it all - but he and Paul soon get to experience the process first-hand.

### Bettina and the robot butler

This episode sees Paul visiting Bettina only to find out that the house has recently become robotically automated; also Wifey Jo play a card game with Cuthbert.

### The Great Bingo Scam

Someone is rigging the bingo so that they win - is it one of the regulars or someone more sinister?

### More About The Alien Book

We learn a little more about The Alien Book which made Ikk so unwell at the start of the year - but, of course - things are never simple.

### Digging Into Unheard Of Places

Paul digs through the archives to find a few interesting conversations that never made it onto shows. This episode has been postponed due to technical difficulties during summer 2018 and was replaced with another episode, but will be rescheduled once more material has been set aside.

MORE TRAVELS WITH SHY YETI...

This week I'll be telling you a bit about my recent trip to Marseille between Sunday 20th and Friday 25th May 2018. I have photos for you - although I want to keep some of them aside for when I release the episode that I recorded out there. There was quite a lot of over-dubbing for this one - as there was with the Denmark episode, but whilst the over-dubbing for that episode was done in the UK - I was able to record all the extra stuff one afternoon in Marseille itself. You probably don't need to know any of this...

First up I want to tell you about our more recent couple of episodes - oh, and we have a new logo for the show to celebrate our 2nd anniversary! I found an app on my phone whilst I was away that pretty much did all the hard work for me. I hope you like it!!

So... What did I get up to whilst I was away? Here's all you need to know! (Need!?! Really!?!)

Sunday 20th May... Today was a lot of travelling - from London on the Eurostar via Paris down to Marseille... It was hot and busy and... I did come up with some new Garageband music which was good, but anyway... It was good to get there and not have to fly! We checked into our Mercure Hotel near the Old Port and went for dinner around the corner. A long day, but it was good to be there!

Monday 21st May... Today was a bank holiday in France and we took the road train up the Notre Dame on the hill - pursued by a load of bikers! (It was a bank holiday thing, don't ask!)  We also ate ice cream and went for a curry in the evening; you can't really grumble about that!

Tuesday 22nd May... Today we went to Arles (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arles) - a town a little less than an hour away from Marseille where Vincent Van Gogh painted and also lost his ear... It was a nice place to spend a few hours and we were almost heading back to the station before I realised it. We certainly didn't overstay our welcome and I enjoyed taking photos and chilling out in the old Roman arena whilst Calum explored the heights. Once home we went out for dinner at a restaurant not far from the port where I had fish again. We didn't find the service very good at any of the restaurants that we visited early in the week - at least it was very hard to get a dessert menu or a bill out of them and we nearly didn't get our main meal at all on the Tuesday!

Wednesday 23rd May... Today we took a boat-trip to Chateau D'if (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ch%C3%A2teau_d%27If) - an island and off Marseille that had once been a prison colony and then also headed on to another island not far away, Frioul Island... I enjoyed the first island best as there were more interesting things to explore and a good view from the top of the chateau - Frioul was nice enough but more touristy, hilly and dusty.  Lovely to be out on the water! We had burgers that evening and a drink or two!

Thursday 24th May... Today headed out on the water again - this time along the coast for a couple of hours - cruising into a couple of interesting bays and enjoying the views. Once back Calum took a bit more of a wander and I went back to the hotel to record links for the episode that I had been recording; in the evening we had drinks and crepes!

Friday 25th May... Today was all about travelling home - and again, it was hot and crowded and the trains were a bit slow... (There had been strikes the day before and there would be again on the Saturday too!) The journey between Gare de Lyon and Gare du Nord was needlessly complicated by poor signage and broken ticket machines - but we made our Eurostar fine and was home with Deeley by 5.30pm. Time for tea! Hoorah! :)

Next time I'll be sharing with you some more podcast episodes and... well, I'm sure there will be something more too - but I'm not certain exactly what, as yet! I'm not due to go away again until the end of July - so that is definitely the last holiday you'll have out of me for a month or two - although as I said at the start I have saved photos for use when the actual overseas episodes are released.
